About Us

For more than 40 years, the Foundation has empowered City College and its students, who speak 45 different languages and study in the heart of the City on a 60-acre campus. Our board members are business and community leaders who reflect the cultural diversity of the downtown campus we serve.

The Foundation partners with business, government and community leaders, along with non-profits and other learning institutions, to support tomorrow’s leaders through the development of educational, workforce and cultural opportunities. Together, we work to strengthen one of San Diego’s great community assets – City College – by assisting, advancing and promoting the college, its students, programs and state-of-the art facilities.

We envision a Foundation that broadens its partnerships, helps more students and builds a better San Diego. We also envision a region that supports, strengthens and advances City College and its students.
